This privacy policy applies to the OurMenu app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Indiego Lab Pte Ltd (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

1. Information Collection and Use

1.1 Data We Collect and Store

Information Stored on Our Servers:

• User ID (generated by our authentication system)
• Email address (required for account creation)
• Meal plans you generate
• Meal generation requests and history
• Pantry items you add
• User preferences (dietary restrictions, cuisine preferences, serving sizes)
• Timestamps of meal generations

Technical Information Automatically Collected:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
• The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
• The time spent on the Application
• The operating system you use on your mobile device

We do NOT collect: Your name, phone number, physical address, payment information, photos, or any personal health data.

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

1.2 Account Requirement

An account is required to use OurMenu, as meal generation is personalized and linked to your user profile. You will need to provide an email address to create an account.

2. App Permissions

We do not request access to your camera, photo library, calendar, contacts, location, microphone, notifications, or health data.

3. Third Party Services

The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. We use the following services:

4. Data Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We implement the following security measures:

• All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS
• User data is stored on secure servers (Neon Database)
• Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only
• Physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards are in place to protect information we process and maintain

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained indefinitely while your account remains active. This allows you to access your meal plans, pantry items, and history at any time.

Important: Data is not automatically deleted when you uninstall the app. Your account and all associated data will remain on our servers unless you submit a deletion request.

6. Your Rights and Data Deletion

How to Delete Your Data

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email us at [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Once deleted, all your meal plans, pantry items, preferences, and account data will be permanently removed from our servers.

Note: Uninstalling the app does not delete your data from our servers. You must submit a deletion request via email.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.

However, uninstalling the app will not delete your account data. To fully delete your data, please follow the data deletion process above.

7. Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider ( [email protected]) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

9. Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
